ISLAM Sakliga studier som rör integration är svåra att finna i Sverige. Tack vare internet går det nu för tiden att hitta utländska studier relativt enkelt, till PK-elitens förtret. I en holländsk studie från 2007 som tittar närmare på muslimer i EU finns en hel del intressant att läsa.
Här är några urklipp som bland annat rör andra generationens muslimska invandrare i Holland och tendensen att de inte tycks integreras i det holländska samhället mer än sina föräldrar gjorde, snarare tvärtom. Alltså tycks integrationen aldrig ta fart utan istället ökar polariseringen för varje generation som går.
”In particular, it will mean that there will be even less interaction between the non-Western immigrants and the native Dutch. Already today, 70 per cent of the Turks and 60 per cent of the Moroccans associate predominantly with members of their own ethnic group, while two thirds of the native population have little or no contact at all with immigrants.”
”Notably, Turks and Moroccans of the second generation have associated less with the native Dutch in latter years. The presence of immigrants in the neighbourhood is beneficial for the contacts with the native Dutch, but if the majority of people in the neighbourhood are immigrants, communication between natives and immigrants diminishes. ”
”There is a marked difference in how the first and second generations perceive their religious identities. The first generation retains strong links to their national identity, while the second generation is more likely to view their shared religion, Islam, as being of more importance than a shared origin and language.”
”However, the ethnic-religious identity of Turks and Moroccans is strikingly stable across the generations: both the first and the second generation strongly identify with Islam. A marriage with an Islamic partner is still considered very important”
Hemläxa till de svenska politikerna (resonera förslagsvis i grupp): På vilket sätt kan man som småbarnsförälder känna att sina barn och deras barn inte kommer se ett Sverige bestående av etniska och religiösa enklaver med de klassiska spänningarna och konflikterna som då brukar uppstå? Har ni sett några tecken på att detta existerar i Sverige redan idag?
